Hive Exhibition Program

Expressions of Interest for programming years 2025-2026 are now open!

Hive Tasmania is seeking Expressions of Interest from individual artists, artist groups, curators, and community groups who have a vision for the creation and presentation of visually engaging display of works in the Gallery. Hive is also seeking EOI for the Ground Floor Circulation Space walls and boxes.

Submissions can cover a variety of work including interactive, installation or digital art. We welcome expressions of interest from people who do not have a full body of work, as we can bring artists together to create joint exhibitions.

Hive Tasmania has a minimum of one EOI sourced exhibition in the Gallery per year. From time to time there may be more than one opportunity, in this case, projects will be drawn from the current EOIs.

There will be no further communication or correspondence following selection.

EOIs will be kept for the duration of the current programming period only.

Key dates:

• Call for Expressions of Interest Opens: Friday, 15 March 2024
• Expressions of Interest Closes: COB Monday, 22 April 2024
• Exhibitions Committee – Selection: Friday, 14 June 2024
• Notification: by 5 July 2024
