Edge of the Sea and Midlands

A South-North series exhibition

Paul Gundry and Lisa Moroney
29 October – 26 November 2022

This display is the inaugural exhibition of Hive’s new South-North exhibition series, which brings the work of leading artists of southern Tasmania to the audiences of northern Tasmania.

In this iteration, Hive has teamed with Hobart’s Colville Gallery to present an incredible combination of land-and seascapes by two celebrated Hobart-based artists – Edge of the Sea by Paul Gundry and Midlands by Lisa Moroney.

Paul Gundry’s sequence is one of dramatic coastal vistas enveloped by mist at the very front of the land edges, while Lisa Moroney’s works evoke the soft Midlands palette and perspectives of farming paddocks, tree lines and the ever-present Western Tiers.

All works in this exhibition are for sale, please contact us for a pricelist.
