Harry Edwards Trio : Only the world remains
This Hobart based acoustic gypsy jazz trio was formed in early 2013, and have since become a staple act of the Hobart jazz scene with a wealth of experience performing their original works around Tasmania and mainland Australia. The ensemble has developed a unique creative approach to performances by using traditional gypsy jazz instrumentation to perform Harry’s original material, drawing attention and accolades from experienced musicians and the public alike.
Harry’s compositions draw on his love of jazz manouche, as well as modern jazz, film scores, and classical music. The ensemble features Harry Edwards on lead guitar, Charlie McCarthy on violin and Isaac Gee on double bass.

Hive’s Planetarium is literally a sound and visual shell that enwraps you in the cosmos. The full dome will be brought to life as an intimate performance space for music and stories against a backdrop of scenes of space and art. Sound in Space is an experience not to be missed.
