Make Your Own Zine! | Creative Workshop with Ariel Pascoe

Get ready to cut, collage, draw, write, and create! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll dive into the world of zines — small, DIY-style booklets that can be about absolutely anything you imagine, from personal stories to wild doodles, poetry, or pure artistic chaos.

Led by Burnie-based artist Ariel Pascoe, you’ll be guided step-by-step from a blank page to your very own finished zine. Whether you’re a storyteller, an artist, or just curious to try something new, this session is all about self-expression and creative play.

All materials provided, but feel free to bring your favourite pens, papers, or other crafty bits. Open to all experience levels — come as you are and leave with something totally unique!

This Workshop will take place at Hive’s Studio One.

Morning session recommended for participants aged 5-12

Afternoon session recommended for participants aged 10+

Participants must be at Hive by the designated start time.

Accompanying adults are required to attend for children aged 16 years and under. Accompanying adults are welcome to participate in the workshop.

Accompanying adults do not require an additional ticket to attend the workshop.

Workshop participants enjoy Hive Access (levels 1 & 2) included with the workshop ticket upon presentation at Visitor Services. Accompanying adults can purchase Hive Access tickets online or at visitor Services desk at Hive.
