Workshop: Play over Perfection with Olly Read

Join current exhibiting artist Olly Read for a playful, hands-on workshop open to all ages and skill levels.

Creativity and curiosity will take centre stage as you explore the expressive possibilities of collage and the sculptural potential of everyday material, featuring materials such as bras and stockings.

Guided by Olly, you’ll be introduced to a jerry-rigged approach to art- making, embracing improvisation, low-tech construction, and intuitive play over perfection. Discover how even flat images can be cut, curled, and layered into bold three-dimensional forms.

All materials provided—just bring your imagination.

Take your creation home, or contribute it to Olly’s evolving exhibition, which he will be extending on Monday 8 September.
