Not just another basket – Free flowing vessel creations with Tanya Harper

This workshops architecture is embedded into the commitment to using a range of natural and recycled fibres to create your own ‘one of a kind’ vessel with a focus on the bold expressions, multidimensional components and ‘differences’.

Participants will be encouraged to share their creative knowledge and skill as we come together and explore shapes, possibilities, combinations of fibres and resources, and weave, bind, coil and fold our story pieces into a unique vessel.

What will be supplied:

• Small samples of a range of natural and recycled fibres.
• Wire, scissors, needles, glue
• Variety of strings, cords, threads

What participants should bring:

• Any fibres, story pieces and embellishments they want to use specifically

Ages 14+

This workshop takes place in Studio 1.
