Join James Bradley, a graduate of the London College of Furniture, former lecturer at Sydney College of the Arts and UTAS, and a designer with over 40 years of industry experience, for an immersive, hands-on course at Hive.

Whether you’re just starting out or refining your creative practice, this course will guide you through the full design process, from initial ideas to a fully realised concept.

The course includes the following:

  • Design and develop a piece of furniture
  • Understanding sketching techniques
  • Drawing your concept to scale
  • Researching materials and construction techniques
  • Studying the history of design and its association with architecture
  • Discovering your own sense of style and taste

About James Bradley

James is a graduate of the London College of Furniture.

A previous lecturer at Sydney College of the Arts and UTAS.

He has 40 years of design and manufacturing experience and is a founding member of Anibou and a past president of the Decorative Wood Veneer Association.
