Rodin | Amor: bronze masters from the National Gallery of Australia

Auguste Rodin and Rick Amor

These works of art are on long term loan from the National Gallery of Australia with support from the Australian Government as part of Sharing the National Collection.

  • Auguste Rodin’s Maquette for The Burghers of Calais (1884, cast 1973) – a study for the iconic large bronzes displayed in the National Gallery Sculpture Garden.
  • Rick Amor’s Study for ‘The dog’ (1994) – a preparatory work for his sculpture also exhibited in Canberra.
