Learn to code with the BBC micro:bit! Use block-based coding to assemble and test various Internet of Things (IoT) technologies! Create: animations using LEDs, chiptune melodies and songs, and send messages to others via radio waves! Code, assemble and test your own step counter and much more!

This workshop will take place at Studio One located on the Ground Floor of Hive.

Suitable for participants aged 9 – 12

Participants must be at Hive by the designated start time.

Accompanying adults are required to attend for primary school aged children and are welcome to participate in the activity.

Accompanying adults do not require an additional ticket.

Please check in at Hive Visitor Services on arrival.

Participants and supporting adults must follow Hive Conditions of entry

Workshop participants enjoy Hive Access (levels 1 & 2) included with the workshop ticket. To be validated at the front desk.

Activity participants will require Hive Access tickets (purchased separately) to access levels 1 & 2.
