Spin a food web in studio 1 at Hive! Meet the species of the Bass Strait Islands and discover how they interact by connecting a 3-dimensional food web in Hive’s Studio 1! Once we know who’s who in the zoo, marine-terrestrial ecosystem, participants will build up a model of the ecosystem brick by brick. What will happen as species diminish and/or recover over time. How will the ecosystem respond? And will our model survive the activity session!?

This activity has been developed in partnership with ecologist Dr Alex Paton and is presented by Hive staff.
